About Berry Linux

Berry Linux comes as a Live CD, but it can also be booted from a USB drive. It can also be installed from the live environment to create a persistent home. Another option is installing it from inside Windows without the need to create a dedicated partition by using a squashfs/cloop/loopback device.

Berry Linux is created by a Japanese developer, Yuichiro Nakada, so it features several tools aimed specifically at that market. For example, Berry Linux comes with WHIZ, a "very sharp Kana-Kanji conversion system," free Japanese True Type Fonts and easy options to switch to Japanese input, using the right Alt key (Alt Gr).
